5 minLesson 3/3

Make a character talk with lips synced to your audio.

A character that can look at the camera and actually speak crosses a line - it stops feeling like a picture and starts feeling like a person. Lipsync is how you get there: you supply audio, and OnZero drives your character's mouth to match it.

The same face, now speaking

Combine your locked character with audio and the same face that appears in your images can deliver a line on camera. Because the identity is locked, the talking version is unmistakably the same person - not a lookalike the model invented for the video.

  1. 1Choose a video or image of your character to speak.
  2. 2Provide the audio - a voiceover or your character voice.
  3. 3Generate the lipsync so the mouth matches the words.
  4. 4Review the timing and regenerate if the mouth and audio drift apart.

Pair lipsync with your character voice so the person both looks and sounds like the same identity end to end. Clean, clear audio produces the most convincing mouth movement.

With lipsync you now have the full visual toolkit: a consistent character that can appear in any scene, move under your direction, and speak on camera. The next track fills in the other half of the experience - giving that character a voice worth listening to.
